Cache #471.
Having explored a great deal on the North side of Mount Stanley Road we decided to see what we could find on the South side.
There are two places I would suggest for parking - On Mount Stanley Road near the corner of Johnson Road for GC9MRAV - the Old Pump and of course you can continue for a loop walk if you wish.The other place is on Cook Lane not far from the cache GC38F6N - Steam Along Stanley and once again you can do a loop walk.
All the caches are next to tracks so there is no need to try to bush bash from one hide to another. If you are keen you might like to ride your mountain bike but there are a few very wet patches along the way.
I called this the Birdsong Walk because when we first explored the area in October the birds were singing beautifully and certainly sounded like they were enjoying life.
This was such a pretty gully that we spied walking from the Old Pump area I just had to put a cache here. It would be great to be able to explore it more but it is very overgrown.
