Welcome to First Thursdays in Columbia (FTIC)!
This is a monthly event on the first Thursday of every month in Columbia, Maryland. Everyone is welcome! We've been sharing caching stories together at this event since June 2017. We use this event to meet fellow cachers, plan trips, recommend caches, give tips, and just enjoy each other's company. This month, we will be meeting on Thursday March 3rd from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM.
We will be in a little outdoor seating area next to a couple of office buildings on the edge of a parking lot at the Mall in Columbia. There is plenty of parking close by, either in the mall lot or an adjacent parking garage. The parking garage will be used in case of inclement weather.
There are a number of outdoor benches to sit on in the gathering area, but you may want to bring a chair. Please dress appropriately for the weather, it may still be a bit chilly in March.
If you are hungry, there is a good variety of fast food restaurants in the food court in the Mall and around the Mall for all tastes and desires.
IMPORTANT: Attendees should follow all current guidelines regarding mask/face coverings to protect others, and practice social distancing guidelines. Let's be respectful and help keep each other feeling comfortable and safe. Please check the current COVID situation in Howard County before attending as things have been changing rapidly recently.
