A palindrome is a word or phrase that reads the same in both directions. The word is derived from the Greek which means "running back again." Examples include WAS IT A CAR OR A CAT I SAW? and NEVER ODD OR EVEN and for this cache SO MANY DYNAMOS which aptly describes the local cachers.
The event is at the outdoor seating of Brew Haha!, a local coffee shop chain from 11 am to noon on Sun, Feb. 20. The area is covered so we are protected from the elements of February. No purchase is expected to attend the event. You may purchase your own coffee, other beverage or light fare as available (cashless payment only). Masks are currently required to enter the coffee shop and are optional at the outdoor tables and seating. For safety reasons, the restrooms and indoor dining are not currently available.
When we started this project, we knew what a palindrome was. Digging deeper, we learned so much. We planned this kickoff event and also hid 8 caches for the week (plus) of Feb 20 when every day is a palindrome: 2-20-22, 2-21-22, 2-22-22, 2-23-22, 2-24-22, 2-25-22, 2-26-22, 2-27-22 and 2-28-22. Some have some interesting info and some are just caches with palindrome names.
