Geocache Description:

Beggar's Canyon was a dry river bed that cut through Ben's Mesa, on the desert world of Tatooine.

Welcome to the race track for todays competition. As you take your positions along the track you will find some wreckage of previous unsuccessful drivers

The 'actual name' for this area is Dead Dog Gully Alluvial Gold Workings located right between Spring Gully and Golden Gully and is part of the Bendigo Regional Park. As the name suggests, the land surrounding the gully is littered with shallow depressions and ravaged earth - the familiar remains of old gold mining efforts, so some care will need to be taken when navigating the 'track and surrounding area'.(Taken from the Goldfields Guide)

I have provided a parking spot, as the road doesnt allow for many parking oppurtunities. Both locations of this multi use a 200ml sistema container. When you arrive at WP1 you will have something to construct to lead you to your final destination, which will contain a logbook, oppurtunity for small swag, pencil and sharpener The area is located in the Australian bush so take usual precautions, the walls of the creek bed can be quite steep so an eye out with children.

Enjoy the race :)
