We have been cruising on our 42ft trawler for 5 years. The Palm Coat Marina has been a favorite stop since we started cruising. It's a great little marina that we have stayed at a number of times.
This cache is a good stop for walkers and bicyclists exploring Palm Coasts miles of walking paths, and there is kayak & canoe tie up just under the bridge if you are exploring the canals (no power boats unless you are stopping at the marina for fuel or dockage, then it's a quick grab). There is a shopping village less than a 1/4 mile up the road with many restaurant and bar options if you are hungry or thirsty.
We liked the area so much that in March of 2021, we sold our house in South Carolina and moved into the Condo Development across the canal from the marina! If you walk halfway across the bridge and peek between the buildings, you can see our boat in the marina.
The cache is accessible from either on or off the bridge. Those with waking challenges will want to approach from on the bridge. The cache will hold medium-sized travel bugs.
