We've chosen Old Santee Canal Park to hide our first cache because it is one of our favorite spots to enjoy nature and history in the Lowcountry. This cache is close to the playground and should not be too hard to find. This is a quiet place on the weekdays, and you should definitely plan extra time to walk the trails when you go!
