Whortleberry Cactus (Myrtillocactus geometrizans)

This totem pole bears a few animals and you are to award points to each animal you see. Total the points and add them to the posted coordinates to find the final coordinates.

Points for North coordinate:
Red cardinal  63 points each

Bald Eagle 41 points each
Spread wing owls 22 points each
All other birds 5 points each

Points for West coordinate:

Wolf 84 points each
Bear 68 points each

Elk 53 points each
Moose 27 points each
Deer 11 points each

Myrtillocactus geometrizans is a highly branched candelabra-like cactus that grows up to 15' tall. The stems are blue-gray and up to 4" wide with 5 to 8 ribs. The flowers are greenish white and up to 1.5" wide. There are edible fruits that grow oblong in shape just smaller than an inch and with a dark deep red color.

Both stages are on private property. You don't have to stray from public property to utilize either location and we have permission from all land owners / home owners to have the geocache stages there. That said, this is best done in daylight. The final container is set up so it has to remain vertical at all times. You'll see what I mean.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
