The ruins of rich. This property has a strange tale to tell. Troutonthebrain heard a story once from his college professor that an abandoned house stood here while he was in college. By 2015, the house was long gone, but no one knew who owned this property: the county said one bank, the city said another. When the dust settled, the city bought the property. What was this strange wall in the woods? What stories could it tell? Perhaps it was the secrete hideout for some long, forgotten gang. Perhaps a rich socialite hid his treasure nearby. Or, perhaps a better explanation, it's just the back retaining wall of the outbuilding behind the house that once was. In any case, now there's a cache here. We will say outright, do not climb on what's left of the structure or go over the wall. There is no need to go east of the wall. We would like to respect the neighbor's space.
