I noticed this area was open to hide a cache, but the satellite pictures show nothing but grass and from the trail it looks like there is nothing up there but grass. So, for several weeks I pondered how to hide something up there. Then a few days ago the answer appeared before me, my camouflage. Now I packed up my cache all ready to hide and upon arriving at what was going to be my ground zero I found that there was more than just grass up here so that is where I hid the cache, and I took my camouflage home for a different place. I also found that the view of Cronan Ranch is delightful up here. It is a small cache but there aren’t too many places to look.
Remember to be careful out here on in Cronan Ranch. In the Summer drink lots of water and use a stick or hiking stick to poke around so that the snakes let you know if they are there. Snakes frequently like to hide in the same places Geocachers like to hide caches. If there is a snake guarding any of my Geocaches you don't need to sign the log, but you owe me a good online log telling me why you didn't sign the log. Make it a good one.
