Geocache Description:

Quest for the golden cactus geo-art

Peyote (Lophophora Williamsii)

This is a multi cache. At the posted coordinates is no container but you will find two wagon wheels on someone's property on the north side of the road. You need information from them to figure the correct cordinates to the final container. Strangely enough Peyote Cactus look like wagon wheels AND the final container.

Of the two wagon wheels count:

(A) Between both wheels, how many total spokes are missing?
(B) how many have their outer circular rims intact?
(C) How many are missing spokes?

Use that info and the picture below to N 42° 55.32A' W 112° XX.XXX'  (A and B will give you XX.XXX)

Lophophora Williamsii is a spineless, slow growing cactus with a stem that is blue-green like in this picture, yellow green, or sometimes reddish-green stem. It usually grows solitary, but sometimes forms groups with numerous crowded shoots. The stem is a distinctive flattened spherical dome up to 3" tall and 5" in diameter with wrinkles radiating out from the center like spokes of a wagon wheel.

The first stage is only a virtual stage and we have permission from the landowner to use it. Parking outside the trailer park and walking in is best. We can park there briefly but it can get crowded for parking in there. The final container is a similar situation but a little bit more relaxed and we have city permission for the placement. Stealth is paramount here.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
