Solve the following puzzle to learn the true cache location.
The West Coast version of an online crossword puzzle with a worldwide theme and
companion to
Intermountain Worldcross in Salt Lake City. The solutions for the two
puzzles are identical.
The crossword clues follow in this listing.
Each clue includes the Across or Down number location in the puzzle.
Don't include any punctuation or spaces between words in your answers.
Some clues have numbers in parens. This indicates the number of words and
letters. For example, "(3/5)" would be a three-letter word and a
five-letter word.
Don't hesitate to work with friends and ask me for help.
Notes on the solver applet:
Keep the cache
listing open in one browser tab and the puzzle in another and switch back
and forth. To do this, right-click on the Puzzle Solver link below and

wish to enter an answer for. For example, click "2 Across" in the

Hiking to the Cache
This is one of many
puzzle caches on a beautiful hike from Coffenbury Lake in Fort Stevens to
Delaura Beach Road. You can park at either end. If starting from the
lake, parking is at the posted coordinates for
Elvira the Elemonator (State Park fee or pass required). If starting
from Delaura Beach Road, parking is at the posted for
Pacific Insecticross (no fee).
The one-way distance is
two miles and the terrain is almost all flat with a few small hills near the
lake.
