The Freedom Rock is located at 198 N Mills St in Lake Mills, IA. Parking is on the street next to the grounds.
This rock was painted by Ray "Bubba" Sorenson II. He has also painted a Freedom Rock in all 99 Counties in Iowa, and I'm told that no 2 are alike.
Also on the grounds are a mass display of US flags, and the names of veterans of Winnebago County, and a special monument to those who gave the "Ultimate Sacrifice".
There is also a Sherman tank on the grounds; this model saw service in WW2.
To validate your log of the Virtual Cache, look at the brass plaque on the front of the tank. At the bottom of the plaque is the Dedication Date. Send me a message with the correct date, do not put that info in your log, even if encrypted.
Enjoy your visit!
