Oak Haven Park
This amazing 10+ hectare park is surrounded by Benvenuto Avenue, Wallace Drive and West Saanich Road in Central Saanich near the village of Brentwood Bay. Access and limited off road parking is available off Benvenuto at: N 48° 33.915' W 123° 27.045'. Trail starts at yellow gate.
There is also a trail access with street parking on Garden Gate Dr at N 48° 33.722' W 123° 26.874' Note that this access joins the main trail approx. 400 metres from the Benvenuto start point.
An easy 15-20 minute walk will take you through a beautiful forest consisting primarily of Garry Oak to the summit viewpoint with spectacular views of Saanich Inlet, Peninsula farmland, Sidney and James Islands. The summit area is mainly moss, full of a spectacular display of wildflowers in the spring.

As always, arrive prepared for weather changes, keep dogs leashed, watch for wildlife and please stay on marked trails.
