Geocache Description:

The Blowhole is a short stroll (around 10 minutes) along the boardwalk from the Nobbies carpark. This virtual cache (no physical container to be found) is only available during daylight hours, as the gates are closed between dusk and dawn to protect the wildlife along the peninsula.

The blowhole is a 12-metre long sea cave that has been carved by the wild ocean into the cliff-face below the boardwalk at GZ. If the tide and swell is at the right levels, a huge spray shoots back out of the cave.

Please ensure that you keep to the boardwalk at all times, as this is a sensitve wildlife habitat. As you make your way along the boardwalk, see if you can spot a few little penguins in their nesting boxes or burrows.

Logging Requirements:

To log this cache, you are required to include a photo of yourself (face welcome, but not essential) on the boardwalk at the listed coordinates, with the blowhole behind you. Do your best to capture a shot when the blowhole is spraying, if possible!

Your photo must be posted in your "Found It" log. Do not send it to me by email or message. Logs without the photo requested above may be deleted without notice after a couple of days.
