Welcome to Delhi!
In many small towns, there's a central place to gather. It's no different in Delhi as we have the square. This square is a meeting place for many things throughout the year, and in all seasons. There are festivals and markets and everything else. In warmer months, the square hosts a great farmer's market on Wednesdays. Every Friday in July features the Fair on the Square, with food and activities for all ages. In 2023, the fair will mark it's 50th! In the fall, there's the harvest festival. And if you come at different times, there are other activities and events going on. 
The cool thing though? On July 7, 1951, the gazebo on the square was featured on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post! The old tale many believed to be true was that the cover was painted by Norman Rockwell, but that is a tale that is not true. It was actually painted by Stevan Dohanos.
Over time, this cover has been seen in many places around town.
The gazebo is one of the pieces of Delhi that people remember. The square is also a home to a Civil War monument, the Delaware County Courthouse, as well as some blue historical signs. There is a lot of history on this square, so I hope you enjoy it!
