Geocache Description:

PADDYS RIVER FALLS

The Paddys River Falls, sometimes also Paddy's River Falls, is a cascade waterfall located on the Paddys River, situated approximately 15 kilometres south of Tumbarumba, in the eastern Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The falls are 18 metres in height and the water flows over the drop and then continues down the Paddys River. Adjacent to the falls on the Tumbarumba to Tooma Road is a barbecue and picnic area situated above the falls. A staired 150-metre track from the picnic area leads to the base of the falls

This hidden treasure is about a 5-minute drive off the main road (Tooma Rd) and down a windy track. Another 5-minute walk will bring you to the foot of the magical beast with many beautiful viewpoints along the way. Strip off into your swimmers and follow the moss covered rocks to where you can stand showering behind the massive body of water, then splash into a ridiculously cold but refreshing pool.

Now comes the important bit......

We want you to count ever single rock and step at the falls.....just kidding, this isn't one of those ridiculous Earth caches...

Just to stop the hoards of armchair loggers out there, message us the amount of vertical metal poles in the last stretch of hand railing at the very end of the steps down to the base of the falls. (Don't post this in your online log)

And post a selfie of yourself in front of the falls in your online log (bonus points if you are in the water)

See?, that was easy wasn't it?

Most importantly, take the time to enjoy the place in all its splendor.

Cheers
