A very special spot for the Spidermonkeys during a very special journey into the outback of SA. We had the blessing of a very special Margaret to take this journey but there wasnt anything to find here to our amazement. So here it is, for all the geo-explorers after us and those that we know will visit over and over again because this countryside is a magnet, especially during an Adelaide Winter! 20 degrees or therabouts most days, but bring your firewood and thermals for those zero degree nights. Probably not the best place to travel in Summer though. Bring everything you need, actually double it! No fuel, no food, no drinking water nearby.
Margaret Siding is found between Curdimurka Siding and Ruins and Coward Springs on the Oodnadatta Track. The track follows, for most part, the Old Ghan Heritage Railway. It is a very remote area. The nearest services either side are Marree to the south and William Creek to the north.
