Swe: Välkommen till Skansen Kronan som är ett av Göteborgs historiska landmärken.
Skansen Kronan är en försvarsanläggning från slutet av 1600-talet på Risåsberget i Göteborg. Den är statligt byggnadsminne sedan 1935 och används i dag som festlokal, kafé samt för olika publika evenemang. Byggnaden reser sig 87m över havet och är 33 meter hög.
Skansen Kronan fick tjäna som fängelse år 1854 med nära tvåhundra fångar. År 1874 fungerade skansen som nödbostad för den snabbt ökande befolkningen. Göteborg köpte Risåsberget, (även kallat Skansberget) av staten 1925.
I början av 1900-talet inrymdes Göteborgs Militärmuseum med historiska vapen och uniformer i byggnaden. Museet stängdes 2004 och samlingarna överflyttades till Stadsmuseets lager.
Skansen består av ett åttkantigt torn där varannan sida är smalare än de andra. Murarna av gråsten är sju meter tjocka. Den första våningen var avsedd för kanoner och den andra för eldvapen. Där finns nu fyrtio rundbågade gluggar i två horisontallinjer och mellan taklistkonsolerna av granit finns också en rad skottgluggar. På taket uppsattes 1697 en krona av trä, klädd med förgylld koppar. Den ersattes vid en renovering 1738 med en krona av endast trä, men 1899 fick skansen åter en krona av förgylld koppar.
Tornet är uppfört i fyra våningar med kanonsalar eller kasematter i de två mellersta. Översta våningen försågs med skottgluggar för infaneri, och i nedervåningen blev det krutmagasin, logement och en ugn att tillverka kanonkulor i.

1: I ditt mejl till mig (vanlig mejl eller messagecenter), kan du nämna minst tre kända göteborgska landmärken som man kan se här uppifrån och åt vilket väderstreck de befinner sig på ett ungefär? Exempelvis norr, nordväst, sydost.
2: Ta ett foto med din gps, eller något som till hör dig i den riktning från Skansen som du anser har den finaste utsikten och ha med den i loggen. Roligast hade det varit men ett foto på dig själv men är självklart inte ett krav.
Du kan logga den innan du lägger upp fotot och svarar på frågan. Men händer inget efter ett tag så tar jag bort loggen (efter att dessförinnan skickat en påminnelse via mejl).

Skansen Kronan is a defense facility from the end of the 17th century on Risåsberget in Gothenburg. It has been a national building monument since 1935 and is used today as a party venue, cafe and for various public events. The building rises 87m above sea level and is 33 meters high.
Skansen Kronan served as a prison in 1854 with close to two hundred prisoners. In 1874, the redoubt served as emergency housing for the rapidly increasing population. Gothenburg bought Risåsberget, (also called Skansberget) from the state in 1925.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Gothenburg's Military Museum with historical weapons and uniforms was housed in the building. The museum was closed in 2004 and the collections were transferred to the City Museum's warehouse.
The redoubt consists of an octagonal tower where each side is narrower than the others. The gray stone walls are seven meters thick. The first floor was intended for cannons and the second for firearms. There are now forty round-arched windows in two horizontal lines and between the granite cornice consoles there is also a row of bulkhead windows. In 1697, a wooden crown, covered with gilded copper, was installed on the roof. It was replaced during a renovation in 1738 with a crown of only wood, but in 1899 the redoubt again received a crown of gilded copper.
The tower is built in four floors with gun rooms or casemates in the middle two. The upper floor was provided with portholes for infantry, and the lower floor became a powder magazine, accommodation and a furnace in which to manufacture cannonballs.

To be able to log this cache, you must do the following:
1: In your email to me (by regular e-mail or message center), can you name at least three famous Gothenburg landmarks that can be seen from up here and roughly which direction they are? For example, north, northwest, southeast.
2: Take a photo with your GPS, or something that belongs to you in the direction from Skansen that you think has the best view and include it in the log. The funnest would have been but a photo of yourself, but is of course not a requirement.
You can log it before posting the photo and answering the question. But if nothing happens after a while, I will delete the log (after previously sending a reminder via email).
