Geocache Description:

Seerley park was acquired by the city of Cedar Falls in 1893. It is named in honor of Homer Seerley who was the second president of the University of Northern Iowa from 1886-1928. At the time, UNI was called Iowa State Teachers College. The 4th president of UNI was Malcolm P. Price who served form 1940-1950. The former Price Laboratory School was named in his honor. Malcolm Price's daughter, Nancy Price became an accomplished author and has published 6 major books.

At the south end of the park along Seerley Boulevard is a plaque honoring both Nancy Price and Seerley Park. The book, "Sleeping With The Enemy", was made into a major motion picture (1991). The climax of the movie occurs at a time depicted as the Sturgis Falls Celebration and is to take place in this park. To get credit for the cache, you must tell me what side of the park Nancy Price lived at and also tell me the name of the second book from the left. Email me your answers through the Geochache website.
