This is Cache 6 in a series of 7 caches.

Ideal for a quick cache and dash

Nestled in the Somerset Country side, this cache will help you to explore some of the lesser walked footpaths and lanes around the fields of Cheddon Fitzpaine, Goosenford and West Monkton. 

There is limited on-street parking in the villages of Cheddon Fitzpaine and West Monkton, or in the surrounding lanes. Please park responsibly.

This cache is approx 1 mile walk from the Taunton & Bridgwater Canal for those on foot.

This cache is in ideal company with the 'Leo's Muddy Boots' series* and can easily be added in to that circular walk**. 

*Series not placed by me. **You will need to double back on yourself.

The route is standard through-field public footpath access, which can get very muddy in bad weather. Wellies are advised during wet spells.

The fields can often have sheep and cows, so dogs will need to be carefully controlled. 

Cache - You are looking for a very small cache (Tweezers will be required for the log) - why not explore 'Somerset Wood' while you're here.
