The 2022 Bicycle Ride Across Georgia begins in Columbus and ends in Brunswick traveling through other host cities of Thomaston, Perry, Dublin, Hazelhurst, and Jesup. I hope to geocache along the way and meet other geocachers in the host cities. Come on out to meet a cycling geocacher from Alabama.
If you have any travel bugs that I can help move on, bring them and I can move them down the line or take them back to Bama when I go home. I'll try to bring enough bugs from home so I can leave a few in each location.
If there are must-find geocaches in your area, I'd love to know about them beforehand so feel free to message me with any suggestions. Just keep in mind that I'll be on a bicycle, which means my radius of operation will be relatively small.
I'm picking a location from the interwebs that is within easy cycling distance from our overnight location and offers some shade. While the event itself is short, I'll be looking for a beer and a meal afterwards and if anyone would like to join me I'd love to extend the social.
