I've enjoyed the "Shutterspots" I've gone after in the Peoria and Dekalb areas, so I thought I'd bring a little series to the Quad Cities: Bettendorf, Davenport, Moline and Rock Island. Some may be more difficult than others.
INSTRUCTIONS: I hope you enjoy this tricky little multi. The first stage is "virtual" - meaning that it's not actually at the posted coordinates. You're looking to find the GPS coordinates for the given image. The image can be found within a 2 mile radius of the posted coordinates. Find those, plug them into the Certitude, and if you're within 30' you'll be rewarded with coordinates for the final location. The final is a tricky tree climb.
Do you like the "Shutterspot" concept? Do you have a specific location you want to highlight?? If so, feel free to add on with a cache of your own! Just number it appropriately to your city (i.e. Rock Island 2). Of course, there's no expectation for anyone to add to this series, but there is an open invite if you'd like to.
