Geocache Description:

While out doing some exploring, we decided to set up a series of caches to be done by paddling Flat Lake at night.

To find the caches, simply paddle along the shore till you see 2 fire tacks in a tree. Once located, follow the single tacks in the woods until you see 3 tacks indicating the final location.

As these can be done when the lake is frozen, it should be done with extreme caution as this particular lake has two in/exit flows and even in the deep cold winter, these areas do not freeze over.

CAUTION ⚠️  Avoid areas around  N 044 42.892 W 063 47.978 and N 044 42.760 W 063 47.884

These should be done by kayak or done after checking ice conditions before venturing out at night..
