This cache marks a public boat launch for Sunrise Lake. This is one of my favorite spots to go kayaking. This lake is relatively shallow. There is a small town beach nearby that is only for residents, but the boat launch is free for everyone.
The cache container is small but could hold tiny trade items. The log is a rite in the rain type, so should be good even if wet. BYOP.
I have left inside a small piece of Herkimer diamond that I found at a mine in Herkimer, New York for the FTF. These re not really diamonds, just very brilliant quartz that was mistaken for diamonds when first found in that area.
