#StThomasProud
The town of St. Thomas became a central hub of railways by 1914, with 8 railway companies running more than 100 trains per day.
St. Thomas quickly became known as Canada's “Railway Capital”.
A century later, post-railroad days, factory closures made St. Thomas the hardest hit town economically in Ontario.
But #StThomasProud is the slogan of this town. It's bouncing back with lots of new homes, new businesses, and looking forward to a better future.
