This is a cache in a series which provides a circular walk to/from Ickwell Green using council-registered permissive paths as well as a public bridleway and road/tracks. There is a small amount of road walking but on a very straight section. The circuit overlaps for a short stretch with another of our series: The Three Greens Walk.
This particular cache is at one end of a permissive path that links one of the public entrances of the Shuttleworth estate to Ickwell's Sheep Walk, although on event days entrance is only off the B658 between Upper Caldecote and Stanford (information correct as of March 2023). If the entrance is open then you could stop off at the cafe for refreshments.
