This cache has been archived.

comtg: Time to archive and make room for a new one! Added pics from last event with the yellow tennis shoe that was our log. Maybe look for that to make a comeback at event near you, I may make it a trackable and send it from GA to a Seal Beach CITO after I move in June. I also added a photo of NakoTacoPatrol with his Vans gift certificate that he won!

TERRAIN RATING: The terrain rating is set at 5 for those of you that get on the rocks and collect trashThis is NOT required, there is plenty of trash that DOES NOT require rock climbing, so come one, come all.  Note that the rocks can be very slippery and can be dangerous. WET ROCKS ARE SLIPPERY and may result in slips and possible injury. Wear adequate footwear. You may get wet. Protect your GPS or smartphone and yourself. Regarding the terrain rating, the choice is yours! Either way, bring plenty of water and wear a hat and apply sunscreen.

WHERE YOU FIND THE GEOCACHER GROUP:
Cachers tend to spread out in several smaller groups along the jetty (the rocky area). Look for people wearing geocaching gear or apparel. Remember, you are one of us, and all cachers look alike.

THE LOG:
We retrieved these marvelous items during previous CITO events and used them as the event log and to frame the CITO group, see pictures. Feel free to post your snap-shot Group Pictures. Should you miss the group picture, no worries, post a picture that shows you with the CITO bag or grabber at the beach. Please note that Geocaching.com does not require you to physically sign the log when attending a CITO event or post pictures.

EARNING YOUR SMILEY:
Should you arrive late, or simply DNF the CITO crew (sometimes we blend in with the muggle crowd quite well), if you attended the beach cleanup and filled a bag of trash, you earned your smiley. Selfies are desired but not required.
