Geocache Description:

24 April 2022, 10:00 - 11:30

Join us as we give back to the community by cleaning up the Lake Hendricks Park and Camping Area with a CITO (Cache In Trash Out) Event. We will meet at the lower shelter near the beach. From there, we will spread out to designated areas to pick up trash.

BRING: A pair of gloves and/or your favorite trash pick up tool. If you have a walking stick, you might want to bring it along as a few will need to clean up some steep areas near the creek.

PROVIDED: Trash bags & bottled water.

At the conclusion of the Event we will meet back at the picnic shelter near the beach. There will be soap and water as well as hand sanitizer for cleaning up.

A light lunch will follow the cleanup, including maid-rites, buns, chips, and... Scotcheroos! There may even be some new caches in the area as well as a door prize or two.

Permission has been granted by Skyler Foley, Lake Hendricks Ranger.

Geocachers can earn a CITO souvenir by attending a CITO Event
