At the entrance the JJ Mays Trace there is a field of unusual-shaped oak trees and picnic tables. This is a great place for bird watching and enjoying nature.

If you have the chance, follow the road to other caches. You might also see an alligator, raccoon or some other furry besides several bird species.
Following the drive will take you to a pavilion and restrooms.
