We chose Lenevar Playground to hide this cache because we had an awesome birthday party here once! So to us, this park is forever known as Bithday Park. It has two playgrounds with relatively new equiptment (installed 2016-ish), tennis and basketball courts, open fields, and a paved walking path with exercise equiptment. There is also a small community center, and we have seen a hawk, woodpeckers, squirrels, and plenty of songbirds here. The cache we left is a clip container with just enough room for the log and some trinkets, no pen. This park can get a little busy, but we tried to find an out-of-the-way spot. There were thorns and some poison ivy around the spot when we chose it, but maybe that will help keep muggles away!
We included waypoints for the park's two parking lots--they are pretty far away from eachother, so if you choose the far one, expect a bit of a walk. We hope you like the cache and have fun at this tucked-away park!
