It's amazing how time has flown by! April 18th, 2010 was the day I signed up to be a geocacher. Back then I didn't know how many geocaches there were to find, nor was I ever to expect to still be into this fantastic activity. A big shout out goes to Kelly899, and his dad for casually telling me about geocaching on a walk around the trails near Pitt Lake. After that walk, I looked up geocaching. The website has since improved from 2010.
Originally, my username was my email (keats94@telus.net), don't ask me why, but I recall there being a suggestion that you use your email for your username. I decided to shorten it to Keats94 once I realized I could shed the weird email name.
At the time I didn't know how significant geocaching was, and how much of a significant role it would play in my life! It has in many ways saved my life, and I am immensely grateful for the people I have met along the way. You are all friends to me, and my heart is always full when I am among fellow geocachers.
This event will take place under the green barn roof just south of the Langley Events Centre, where the picnic tables are. Rain or shine. I'll bring cake balls from a certain popular Canadian coffee place.
