Note 3/31/23: If you don't have good eye sight, bring binoculars or a good camera. You might need it at S3.
This 7 stage multi will take you on a 8 (+/-) mile hike in Starkey Wilderness Preserve. Several approaches and routes are possible. Trails may exist. You need to backtrack at some point. You should get your feet wet in March. When the water level is high you will get more than your feet wet. Some bushwacking is required; do more if you wish.
When placing the cache, I encountered hogs, deer, turkey, gopher tortoises, an owl, and a water moccasin.
Be prepared for the outdoors and bring plenty of water.

Field tasks:
Stage 1:Â you will find a man-made object. It has numbers on it. Look at the larger numbers on the left. What is the highest number on the top? Disregard the decimal point. Drop the last digit (0). You get a 3-digit number. 3-digit number +Â 363Â = XXX.Â
Stage 2: you will find another man-made object. It has 2 words in the middle of a circular thing. Total number of letters in the words + 45 = YY
Stage 3: From here look across the river to a man-made object (same type as S1). What is the highest number on top ( use only the first 2 digits, disregard the number after the decimal point)? Answer - 32 = A. Answer - 29 = B . If you don't have good eye sight, binoculars or a good camera (for enlarging) might come in handy here.
Stage 4: N 28° 13.XXX W 82° 3A.YYB'
At S4 you will find a container leading you to S5, etc.
