Kirkstall Valley Nature Reserve is located between the River Aire and the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, in the heart of Leeds. It is a 10-hectare site that previously housed a power station, but has since been converted into a haven for nature, with over 130 different plant species and numerous birds and mammals. The site is owned by Leeds City Council and managed by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, who have kindly given permission for this cache.
For our first cache, we thought we'd take you into one of Leeds' true hidden gems.
THIS CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED CO-ORDINATES
These are for the entrance to the nature reserve - the cache is located somewhere within. To find it, you will have to search the nature reserve for clues to decipher the following:

Everything you will need to find to make sense of the above image can be found in the nature reserve, and once you've made sense of it the uncovered co-ordinates will lead you to the final cache. There is no need to stray from established paths.
Parking is available on Redcote Lane outside the entrance to the nature reserve, but is limited. The site is easily accessible on public transport by bus along the nearby A65

EDIT SUMMER 2025
So this is still there, but for any waverers here's a bit more info. This was placed in winter, and if you are trying it during summer note that some of the clues may be hard to spot - indeed on a recent trip we ourselves failed to find a couple of them, although the puzzle should still be solvable. Note also that there is no number one. More in the hint!
