-Cleaveland changed their baseball team's name from "Indians" to "Guardians" in 2021. Washington's football team promptly followed suit and renamed the "Redskins" to the "Commanders" in 2022. Moving forward, we hope that sports will become more inclusive to all races, cultures, and identities.
