The Adventure of the Quite Curious Case
ACT: 2
In a few brisk strides we approached a bench on the far side of the park. Codlock rapidly took to the seat and pulled from his waistcoat pocket a briar pipe and began to blow large plumes of blue-grey smoke into the still air.
“I hate standing Bunkson. It seems a total waste of energy. If I could, I would stay recumbent for all time.”
“I still don’t know why you have brought me here Sir?” I said, questioningly.
“Of course, you don’t Bunkson. I have yet to explain it to you. I once found a bottle of Gin and juice just back there on Earle Street. My dear boy! What would my mother have said if she had known...”?
Codlock’s story had trailed off and I had by now sat down to Codlock’s right. He uncrossed his legs, turned to me and said, “There is yet another curious case right around this area, Bunkson. If I had not told you of it, we would have sat here for all eternity waiting on you and your lack of gumption.”
“I’m sorry Sir, I just didn’t suppose-”
“Nevermind Bunkson. I dare not give you too many clues, as this is the very cache that was stolen by a ddsnag; who must live around this area. The only clues that I can afford is that the Stellaria media is covering a sedimentary nugget very close to the underside of this bench; that is where the cache can be found!”
“How difficult is this cache to find? Underside of the bench? Sedimentary nugget? Stellaria media?” I thought about this for a long time before I finally found the cache. By the time that I had raised back up after signing the log I looked around to find that Codlock had ran off to Halson Street in search of the gravesite of Dr. Festus Claybon...
Notice: Codlock had ran off to Halson Street. If you are a premium member you can then look for the Mystery cache clues that may allow you to find the third and final physicial cache that is hidden in this park.
