The first geocache placed by our school. Placed after a series of three residential visits, by class groups of Y5/6s, at the nearby Centre. Small groups of pupils had a go at finding an interesting spot to hide a cache, chosing a suitable name, deciding on an appropriate clue and taking several readings in order to get the most accurate co-ordinates. The whole class then voted on which of the proposed geocaches was the best. This one was selected. The cache has been placed with the kind consent of the Centre and the Church, and is approached through the Churchyard. Although there are dry stone walls near by, the cache is not in a dry stone wall and no part of any wall needs to be disturbed.
