Community Park of Corsicana
This 45.5-acre park wraps along Oaklawn, which is tree lined from each entrance.
Near the northeast entrance is the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA), while Oakwood Cemetery shares a fence line along the southwest side.
The park includes many nice amenities including: a nice long paved walking track, two separate playground areas, a short BMX course, a skateboard park, baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, spray park (during the summer), a Gazebo, and the list goes on….
This park needed a cache, but I could not find the right spot in this high traffic area. I think this will work…
High muggle traffic area, discretion advised. Cache is located in an area that you could sit in the grass, enjoy the sun and study the creek….
This area is prone to flooding during rain events. If the creek is full, stay away and come back when the water has receded.
Cache is a magnetic hide-a-key box with log. Pencil is there for now, but BYOP just in case.
