CITO - Woolly Hollow State Park Shoreline Clean-Up (Greenbrier, AR)
Park will provide everything needed for the Shoreline Clean-Up.
Meeting place will be the Snack Bar area - parking is nearby.
{Information from Park - The park has 5 kayaks, 4 canoes and 10 pedal boats that can be used for the cleanup, but bringing your own vessel is allowed/encouraged as well. I’m working with Keep Arkansas Beautiful to get mesh cleanup bags for the boats and the park will provide nitrite gloves (and trash bags for those walking the shore/roads instead of boating). This cleanup is our registered “Great American Cleanup” event for the year, so it will be promoted on their website for people to join. Last 2 years we didn’t hold a cleanup due to covid, in 2019 we had 60-some people show up, 2018 there were 3, so it’s always kind of hit or miss. There’s no registration required, but if you have an estimate of people potentially coming from your group let me know and I’ll pull boats out of the fleet for you all}
Come out join in the fun! All are welcome, muggles & future geocachers, the more the merrier.
Walkers and Water folks are needed, you may choose to be our cheer squad - take great photos to post - tell funny stories, visit with old and new friends - It will be fun getting out and being together.
If you would like a peddle boat, canoe, or kayak please let me know when you click will attend, so I can reserve them for our group.
Mark Your calendars - put on your watch list for upcoming details
