Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces.
This is a well used Park and Splash Pad in Barrhaven. From this spot, there are many amenities within walking distance and a nice pathway to the North that is well used all year for access to the community and outdoor activities. The splash pad is very busy in the hot summer months.
Recently while finding some caches along the path, I noticed quite a bit of trash. I would welcome the Geocaching Community's help doing a cleanup of this area.
Key Targets for this event are: The splash pad area, around the Running Oval, and along the paths through the forest.
