Celebrate 10 years of caching with Metro Parks with these Fan Favorite geocaches!
You are a cunning Geocacher, leader of the pack. You hunt down your prey with determination. You brag about your Geocaching conquests. Some may even call you a blowhard, but are you really?
This awesome gadget cache was a favorite in 2016 when it debuted at Rocky Fork Metro Park. For our 10 year anniversary, we wanted to recreate this cache but in an easier to access location so our cache caretakers wouldn’t have to go traipsing off-trail everytime it needed maintenance!
“Please note: there is no need to take apart this gadget to get to the cache!” Please add: The log book and swag items are located in a traditional cache box, but the secret code word can only be found by “solving” the gadget cache.
Enjoy the picturesque drive through Blendon Woods Metro Park as you make your way to the Nature Center. Park in the Nature Center lot and follow the path to the program area as you search for this fun cache. Teamwork will make this cache grab easier, but is not absolutely necessary. Don’t forget to check out the Nature Center before you go! Not pet friendly.
