A short walk from parking, you will find an item whose purpose is to provide safety. It is not likely that this item will keep you safe in its current location, but that is not really an issue as there is not much in the way of potential danger here.
Please rehide as found, or better if you are so inclined. Cache is available dawn to dusk. Canines exercising humans are common on this trail. The trail is a paved surface with only a slight drop in elevation as you walk toward the water. Several other caches in the area as well.
NOTE: Hunting may be permitted here September to January (Archery). Please wear clothing that ensures you are visible and be respectful if you encounter hunters. Also, there is a trap shooting range in the area. This poses no danger to people here, but you might here some shooting.
