Qornet Sohde is the highest peak in Lebanon. It is 10,131 feet high and places it as the highest peak in the Levant as well. This peak does receive significant snow fall each year so access is limited to late summer and early fall if you are looking for a snow-free experience. Skiing is available on the mountain during the winter months. You can hike up to the top of the peak if you want, or follow the two-tracks in a 4x4 all the way to the peak. It is all in how you like to play the came. There is a traditional cache at the summit for those of you that make it that far. But finding it in the snow might be problematic.
What container is being used for this summit cache?
