Welcome to the "River front trail" (RFT)
We have placed caches from the The Dalles Marina to the Discovery Center. This can take just a few hours or a good part of the day depending on your mode of transportation. We have used this trail many times on our bikes and walking the pet and really enjoy the views. This trail is paved all the way and is about 6 miles one way. There are many plaques along the way telling you about the Lewis and Clark expedition and how The Dalles became the end of the Oregon trail.
So now go out and enjoy the day and find as many caches as you can, please remember you may need to be stealthy at a few places. Be careful and hide them back where you find them.
