Nahnalaud is 2,566 feet high. It is the highest point in the Federated States of Micronesia. Nahnalaud is located almost in the exact center of the island of Pohnpei. There are five different route to the summit. They are not that long in relative terms, but none of them are easy. The concept of switchbacks is little known on Pohnpei; trails are rough, rocky, and often go straight up the slope. There are no caches along the trails or at the summit. There are however currently six caches on the island. So at least you will have something to find while you are here.
