This cache is placed within State Game Lands #158 along a trail that connects to the Bells Gap Trail. Scruffy is a very rare breed, an American Rock Hound, who was trained to sniff out treasures hidden in rock formations. Occasionally, I am able to distract him away from the rocks to look in other locations. This was not one of those occasions. Unfortunately, he can't seem to keep track of his toys and has lost one along this Trail. Scruffy loves this section of the trail with plenty of places to sniff out. Can you find it for him? The terrain rating is based on grade and not on distance. Approximately a 2.3 mile round trip from the posted Parking. Since it is located on PA Game Lands, follow the Game Lands rules during hunting season.
