National Public Gardens Day, occurring annually on the Friday before Mother's Day, is a day to promote awareness of botanic gardens, arboreta, zoos, historic gardens, or any public gardens. Although the day is observed in North America and not Australia, it provides a good opportunity to acknowledge council parks, reserves and gardens, and an excuse to catch up over breakfast/coffee.
Consequently, come and enjoy a morning geo-chat (with optional breakfast/coffee).
