🇸🇮 Žlezava nedotika je visoka enoletna rastlina. Njena domovina je Himalaja, zaradi človeškega vnosa pa se je danes razširila po celotni Severni polobli. Zaradi agresivnega razširjanja semen in hitre rasti se hitro širi in s preraščanjem izpodriva avtohtono rastlinje. V mnogih področjih jo štejejo za invazivno, v Evropi je vključena na seznam invazivnih tujerodnih vrst Uredbe (EU) št. 1143/2014 Evropskega parlamenta in Sveta o preprečevanju in obvladovanju vnosa in širjenja invazivnih tujerodnih vrst.
V nedeljo, 5. junija od 9.00 do 11.30 bomo pomagali mestu Ljubljana pri čiščenju močno prizadetega področja. Rastlina ima plitve korenine, zato je odstranjevanje razmeroma preprosto s puljenjem brez uporabe večje sile. Aktivnost je primerna za vse, saj rastline niso strupene ali alergene. Ne potrebujete posebne opreme, pridite pa v primernih oblačilih in obutvi. Prosimo vas, da prinesete zaščitne rokavice, če jih imate. Nekaj jih bomo priskrbeli tudi organizatorji. Lahek dež ali plohe ne bodo ovira.

🇬🇧 Himalayan balsam (Impatiens glandulifera) is a large annual plant. It is native to the Himalayas but has spread across much of the Northern Hemisphere by human introduction. Aggressive seed dispersal and rapid vegetation enable it to spread quickly and outcompete native plants by dense overgrowth. The plant is considered invasive in many areas and included in the Regulation (EU) No 1143/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the prevention and management of the introduction and spread of invasive alien species.
We will help the City of Ljubljana to clear a heavily affected area on Sunday, June 5, from 9.00 to 11.30. The plants have shallow roots, so they are removed easily by pulling without using much force. The activity is suitable for everyone, as the plants are not toxic or allergenic. No special equipment is necessary but we advise you to wear outdoor activity clothes and shoes. Gloves, if needed, will be provided by the organisers. Light rain or showers will not scare us.

🇩🇪 Das Drüsige Springkraut (Impatiens glandulifera), auch Rotes Springkraut oder Himalaya-Balsamine genannt, ist eine große einjährige Pflanze. Sie ist eigentlich im Himalaja heimisch, hat sich aber durch menschliche Einbringung über einen Großteil der nördlichen Hemisphäre verbreitet. Durch seine aggressive Samenverteilung und sein schnelles Wachstum kann sich das Springkraut schnell ausbreiten und einheimische Pflanzen durch dichtes Überwachsen ausstechen. Die Pflanze gilt in vielen Gebieten als invasiv und ist in der EU-Verordnung Nr. 1143/2014 des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates über die Prävention und das Management der Einbringung und Ausbreitung invasiver gebietsfremder Arten enthalten.
Wir werden der Stadt Ljubljana am Sonntag dem 5. Juni von 9.00 bis 11.30 Uhr helfen, ein stark betroffenes Gebiet vom Springkraut zu befreien. Die Pflanzen haben flache Wurzeln, so dass sie leicht und ohne großen Kraftaufwand durch Ziehen entfernt werden können. Die Aktion ist für jeden geeignet, da die Pflanzen nicht giftig oder allergieauslösend sind. Es ist keine besondere Ausrüstung erforderlich, aber wir empfehlen euch Kleidung und Schuhe zu tragen, die für solch eine Aktivität im Freien geeignet sind. Handschuhe werden von den Organisatoren zur Verfügung gestellt.
