We thought it might be a good idea to have another CITO before the nearby MAGC event to give some volunteers a chance to join together to do some clean up. The posted coordinates will have ample parking available on a Saturday morning and it's a good place to meet and then hit the adjacent wooded area. There is a MAGC cache in this area (GC9GJY4) and recent cache finders have told me that the area could use a good cleaning. Let's meet there and take care of it (and you can find the cache too if you haven't already!).
It might be slippery in some places during this time of year, so please wear appropriate clothing and be careful. There will likely be exposure to some thorns, poisonous plants, insects and critters too, so be prepared for that as well.
We'll bring some trash bags, grabbers, buckets, and bottled water. Bring your own gloves and grabbers if you have them. There might be some fairly large objects, so teamwork might be required to get some of the trash out. We'll coordinate that as needed.

This is an opportunity to gather and enjoy the camaraderie of the Northern Virginia chapter of the Military Association of Geocachers (MAGC) and serve the community at the same time. This organization is open to all military veterans and their family members as well as any other geocachers interested in supporting our military. Everyone is welcome!
