屏風ケ浦は下総台地が海の波によって削られた崖です。言わずと知れた銚子の名所で、銚子ジオパークでも見どころとして紹介されています。
犬吠埼に近い表側から楽しむのが一般的ですが、人の少ないこちら側から静かに楽しむのもおすすめです。勇気を出して "ガードレール橋" を渡れば数百メートル先に素晴らしい景色が待っているはずです。
注意：悪天候・波の高い日、夜間は先に進むのは厳禁です。濡れている場所はコケで滑りますので十分ご注意ください。
屏風ケ浦は風が強いことでも知られています。洋上の発電用風車は現在は1基しかありませんが、2028年までに32基の整備が予定されています。すごい風景になりそうですね。
Byobugaura is a cliff carved out of the Shimousa Plateau by ocean waves. It is a well-known landmark of Choshi, and is also introduced as a highlight of the Choshi Geopark.
It is usually enjoyed from the front side near Inubosaki, but it is also recommended to enjoy it quietly from this side where there are few people. If you have the courage to cross the "guardrail bridge", a wonderful view awaits you a few hundred meters ahead.
Caution: It is strictly forbidden to proceed ahead in bad weather, high waves, or at night. Please be careful on wet areas as they are slippery with moss.
Byobugaura is also known for its strong winds. There is currently only one offshore windmill for power generation, but 32 are scheduled to be in place by 2028. It will be an amazing landscape.
