A Nagy-Somlói borvidék, Magyarország legkisebb területű történelmi borvidéke a Bakony hegység nyugati lábánál, de már a Kisalföld síkságából kiemelkedő Somló szoknyáján helyezkedik el.
Sokan a somlói borokban érezhető ásványos, olykor szinte sós ízt is a vulkanikus talajnak tulajdonítják.
A leggyakoribb szőlőfajták az Olaszrizling, a Juhfark (ami az egész világon szinte kizárólag ezen a borvidéken terem), a Furmint, és a Hárslevelű. Ez utóbbi két fajta elsősorban a Tokaji borvidékről ismert, de Somlón is kiemelkedően szép borokat adnak.
A Somló-hegy ikonikus borásza, Fekete Béla bácsi a 70-es évek elején vásárolta a birtokot, mely lépésről lépésre érte el mai, 4,5 hektáros területét. Kezdettől fogva a kiváló minőségre való törekvés volt a céljuk, elsőkként kezdtek el hozamkorlátozással borászkodni. Béla bácsi és Bori néni 2014-ben vonultak vissza és eladták a birtokot egy három barátból álló kis csapatnak.
Béla bácsi a láda megjelenésekor, 2022-ben, a 96. életévében jár, és a mai napig tanácsaival segíti a jelenlegi tulajdonosokat, akik a hagyományt megőrizve készítik kézműves boraikat.

The Nagy-Somló wine region, the smallest historical wine region in Hungary, is located at the western foot of the Bakony Mountains, but already in the skirt of Somló, which stands out from the plains of the Little Plain.
Many also attribute the mineral, sometimes almost salty, taste to the volcanic soil in Somló wines.
The most common grape varieties are Olaszrizling, Juhfark (which is grown almost exclusively in this wine region worldwide), Furmint, and Hárslevelű. The latter two varieties are mainly known from the Tokaj wine region, but Somló also produces outstanding wines.
The iconic winemaker of Somló Hill, Uncle Béla Fekete, bought the estate in the early 70's, which gradually reached its current area of 4.5 hectares. From the beginning, their goal was to strive for excellent quality, they were the first to start winemaking with limited yields. Uncle Béla and Aunt Bori retired in 2014 and sold the property to a small team of three friends.
In 2022, in the year of the publishing this cache, Uncle Béla is in his 96. year, and to this day he helps the current owners with his advises, who make their artisanal wines while preserving the tradition.
